Daily Pronunciation Workout Service Agreement

Effective date 15 September 2026 

This Service Agreement explains the terms that apply when you purchase and use the Daily Pronunciation Workout from the individual sole trader operating BritSpeak. By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Agreement.

1 Parties and acceptance

This Agreement is between the individual sole trader operating BritSpeak (BritSpeak, we, us or our) and the person who purchases the Daily Pronunciation Workout (you or the customer). The seller's legal name, complete business address and telephone number will be provided without delay upon request. You may request these details before purchasing by emailing mail@britspeak.co.

You accept this Agreement when you tick the agreement box and complete payment at checkout. If you do not accept these terms, do not purchase or access the programme.

You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian who accepts this Agreement for you.

2 The programme

The Daily Pronunciation Workout is a guided online self-study programme for English learners. It contains 28 pronunciation practice sessions delivered through the BritSpeak course platform.

Each workout may include:

•  guided video instruction
•  listening and sound recognition exercises
•  practice with words and complete sentences
•  shadowing activities
•  an independent recording task
•  supporting worksheets or other course materials

The programme focuses on helping you practise recognising and producing English sounds more consistently. It does not promise a particular accent, test score, level of fluency or communication result.

3 Delivery and access

Unless the checkout page states a later start date, the first workout becomes available after successful payment and account creation. The remaining workouts are scheduled to unlock approximately one per day until all 28 workouts are available.

Your purchase includes ongoing access to the Daily Pronunciation Workout for as long as BritSpeak continues to operate and host the programme, with a minimum guaranteed access period of 12 months from the date your access begins. If BritSpeak permanently discontinues the programme during that minimum period, we will provide a reasonable alternative, such as downloadable materials, replacement access or a proportionate refund. Your right to access the programme is personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and subject to this Agreement.

You are responsible for using the email address connected to your purchase, keeping your login details secure and notifying us promptly if you believe somebody else has accessed your account.

4 Price and payment

The price is the amount displayed at checkout when you purchase. Unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise, payment is a single payment and does not create a subscription or recurring charge.

Payment is due in full at checkout. The checkout page will identify the currency, available payment methods and any taxes or fees charged to you. Your bank or card provider may charge its own currency conversion or transaction fees, which we do not control.

If the Daily Pronunciation Workout is included in a bundle or special offer, any additional terms shown for that offer also apply. If those terms conflict with this Agreement, the terms shown for the specific offer will control to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.

5 Refunds and cancellation

You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of your purchase. To request one, email mail@britspeak.co using the email address connected to your purchase and include your name and order details.

We will process an eligible refund to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider controls how long the refund takes to appear. Your programme access will end when we issue the refund.

This refund policy is additional to any cancellation, refund or other consumer rights that apply to you by law. Nothing in this Agreement removes rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

6 Self-study format and personal support

The Daily Pronunciation Workout is a self-study product. The purchase price does not include private lessons, live sessions, individual corrections, personalised pronunciation assessment or feedback on your recordings unless the checkout page expressly adds one of those services to your purchase.

You may contact us for reasonable help with account access or technical problems. Technical support does not include individual language coaching.

7 Your participation and results

You are responsible for completing the exercises and deciding how to apply the material. Pronunciation development varies between learners and depends on factors including starting point, practice frequency and individual learning needs. We do not guarantee any specific result or completion time.

The programme provides general educational content and does not replace medical, speech therapy or other professional advice. If you have a medical condition or speech disorder that affects speaking, hearing or voice use, seek advice from a suitably qualified professional.

8 Technical requirements

To use the programme, you need:

•  a reliable internet connection
•  a current web browser and a device capable of playing video and audio
•  speakers or headphones
•  a device or application that can record and play back your voice for the recording exercises

You are responsible for your own equipment, internet connection and any related costs. We cannot guarantee that the programme will work on outdated or unsupported devices, browsers or operating systems.

9 Intellectual property and permitted use

BritSpeak and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the programme, including its videos, audio, text, worksheets, exercises, branding and course structure.

You may view the programme and download materials that we make downloadable for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, reproduce, record, publish, upload, share, sell, licence, translate, adapt, distribute or create another product from the programme materials without our written permission.

You may not share your account or login details, make the programme available to a class or group, remove ownership notices, scrape the platform or attempt to bypass access controls.

10 Availability and changes

We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security work or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to restore access and, where practical, notify customers of a substantial interruption.

We may correct errors and make reasonable updates to the programme, platform or delivery schedule. We will not materially reduce the core 28-workout programme you purchased without offering a reasonable remedy, such as alternative access, an access extension or an appropriate refund.

11 Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach this Agreement, share your account, misuse the programme, infringe intellectual property rights, attempt to interfere with the platform or use the programme unlawfully. Where the breach can reasonably be corrected, we will normally ask you to correct it first.

Termination for your material breach does not create a right to a refund, except where applicable law requires one.

12 Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, gross negligence or any liability or consumer right that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

Subject to the previous paragraph and to the extent permitted by law, we are responsible only for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of this Agreement. We are not responsible for business losses, loss of profit or indirect losses arising from a purchase made for personal learning. Our total liability for claims connected with the programme will not exceed the amount you paid for it, except where the law requires a different remedy or limit.

13 Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy at https://www.britspeak.co/privacy-policy. Our course and payment providers may also process information needed to operate the platform, take payment and deliver access, under their own privacy terms.

14 Events outside reasonable control

Neither party will be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside that party's reasonable control. This may include widespread internet failure, natural disaster, serious illness, government action or failure of a critical third-party platform. This section does not remove any refund or consumer right that applies by law.

15 Governing law and disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Japan. If you live in another country, this choice of law does not remove any mandatory consumer protection available to you under the law of your habitual residence.

If a problem arises, contact us first at mail@britspeak.co so that we can try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it, either party may bring a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

16 General terms

This Agreement, the checkout information and any terms shown for the specific offer form the agreement between you and us for this purchase. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. You may not transfer your rights under this Agreement without our written permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a genuine sale, transfer or reorganisation of the BritSpeak business, provided this does not materially reduce your rights.

We may update this Agreement for future purchases. The version accepted at the time of your purchase will continue to govern that purchase unless a change is required by law or you expressly accept a later version.
